60th Anniversary Gala

On behalf of the Board of Directors and Staff of St. George’s Scholar Institute, we are excited to invite you to join our 60th Anniversary Celebration. We will host our celebration on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at The Muhammad Ali Center in downtown Louisville from 6:00-10:00pm.

This celebration Gala will be a night to remember! Come dressed in your most festive and finest cocktail attire and join us for drinks and dinner. We'll have time to fellowship, dance and will end our evening with a prize raffle! Prizes will range from sports and events tickets to spa gift certificates, yoga classes, wine, bourbon and more!

Established in 1964, St. George’s is a thriving resource center for the youth in all parts of Louisville. We service young people in 15 different zip codes. We provide a welcoming and educational environment for grades K through 12. Our campus is inside of the California Community Center located at 1600 W. St. Catherine St. We offer out-of-school time programming to include intentional tutoring, college & career readiness, arts exploration & entrepreneurship, mentoring and a phenomenal 6-week summer program.

Some of our recent results we’ve achieved at St. George’s Scholar Institute include:

· Increased youth enrollment from to 140 to 300 youth annually.

· We celebrate 17 years of our summer Reading Rockets program with an average daily of attendance of 68 youth.

· 83% of our students in tutoring are on grade level or above currently.
