All are invited to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the DeForest Area Public Library!
The Solstice Brass ensemble will kick off the festivities with a performance from the Library’s mezzanine at 1 p.m. followed by popular music from the 1960s. Throughout out the afternoon, visitors will have an opportunity to browse historical displays presented by Library staff and the DeForest Area Historical Society, enjoy cake and a warm beverage, and pick up a memento or two. The event will also mark the first public display of a commemorative book created by community members and Library users.
(Reminder: pick up and turn in completed pages by November 22 to be included!)
