Terri is Turning 60!

As my birthday approached, I realized what I truly wanted this year was not a celebration for me, but a way to gather people I love and do something meaningful together. So this gathering has evolved into something bigger than a party. It is now an opportunity to support people going through cancer treatment and offer them both comfort and encouragement.

Why this matters:
Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels is a Phoenix-based nonprofit that supports families impacted by cancer and life-threatening illnesses. They provide emotional support, financial assistance, and adaptive apparel designed specifically for patients undergoing treatment. For this gathering, our focus will be on helping provide Cozy Comfort garments that allow medical staff to access ports, IV lines, and catheters while keeping the patient warm, covered, and dignified during treatment.

A donation of $60 provides one Cozy Comfort garment plus shipping.
While Amanda Hope primarily supports children, many children receive their garments through donations. Adults, however, often must purchase these on their own.

I also have several loved ones, and know many others, who currently have family members navigating cancer treatment. That reality is what inspired this shift.

We will spend time connecting, enjoying light snacks, and making handwritten cards that will be included with the cozy garments.

We are also grateful to be hosting this gathering at the PuriFi Experience Center, where you’ll be able to enjoy a truly clean indoor air environment. PuriFi’s advanced air purification helps reduce airborne pollutants, creating a fresher, more comfortable space to gather, connect, and support one another.
