6 Week Belly Dance Series w/ Kate!
Join Kate for a 6 week series of belly dance lessons!
Mondays at 5:45pm in our Hammonton location (103 N. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ).
Belly Dance is both an ancient and modern dance modality with deep complex roots that predate written history. These roots begin in the Middle East and have spread across the entire globe leaving a shimmering glittery path of joyful movement, improved health, and community everywhere it is found.

In addition to its many physical health benefits, many people find the somatic nature of this dance to be empowering, healing, and oh so fun!
Belly dancing is for all ages, shapes, sizes and genders.
In this series participants will learn rhythms and movements that are essential to all forms of belly dance. A traditional entrance and small piece of choreography followed by space for group improvised dancing!
Over time as you learn this dance language you will have the opportunity to become a part of a synchronized community of dancers that are supportive in each other’s growth. At the end of the series, you will have the opportunity and option to join in and perform/participate in a hafla, which is a dance party open to dance performers. The hafla is optional and will take place on February 1st, 2025 in Collingswood.
$120/person (non-member)
$75/person (unlimited member)
Cost includes all 6 sessions.
After the end of the series, there will be an additional 4 week series of Performance Prep classes leading up to the optional Hafla performance! This is an additional cost of $80/person or $50/unlimited member! You will have the option to sign up for this once the series begins and this will be open to participants of this series and the previous one!
If a session must be missed, Kate will work with participants to receive any missed choreography via video per request. Registration is non-refundable but transferable to another person by contacting [email protected].
