Sewing Lab is sew fun, sew community-oriented, and sew people-friendly! 😊
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced with a machine, hand-sewing, quilting, embroidery, or your own creative project — you’re welcome here. We provide machines, fabric, and supplies, or bring your own if you’d like. Volunteers will be available to help with the basics, and there’s always room for sharing ideas, learning, and laughter.
Have something that needs mending or a project you’ve been meaning to finish? Bring it along!
After Sewing Lab, stay for our Community Meal in 6:8’s large dining room (every 2nd Thursday). Enjoy good food and even better company.
Join us for “sew and tell” time, conversation, and creativity — all you need to do is show up!

Looking for a fun and relaxing way to connect with others? Join us at the 6:8 building for Diamond Painting Community nights! Whether you’re brand-new and want to learn how to diamond paint, or you’ve already got a project in progress, this is the perfect space to create, share, and enjoy time together.
We’ll gather alongside 6:8’s Community Meals, so you can enjoy good food and good company while working on something beautiful. No experience is needed—just bring your creativity, or your current project if you have one. Supplies and guidance will be available for beginners.
Come as you are, meet new friends, and discover the joy of making art and memories together!
