Did you know you can make photographic prints with just plants? Did you know you can make photographic prints ON plants? Explore the magic of Anthotypes and Chlorophyll prints, the most eco and diy friendly photographic processes. Using turmeric and a little bit of rubbing alcohol, students will create their own Anthotype emulsion. Students will also use transparent images and the sun to create an image on leaves picked fresh from outside. They will leave with a variety of Anthotypes and Chlorophyll prints created in the class, along with a variety of emulsion recipes to continue their exploration.
All materials provided. If there is something specific you would like to use to make a print with be sure to bring that along.
