About the Bolero
The Bolero originated in late 18th-century Spain as a moderately slow, courtly dance performed in 3/4 time to the accompaniment of guitar and castanets. In the 19th century, the dance traveled to Cuba, where it was transformed by African and Caribbean influences into a slower rhythm that emphasized romantic, lyrical movements.
Today, the Bolero is widely known as a popular ballroom dance that blends the graceful "rise and fall" of the Waltz with the sensual, slow-tempo partner work of Latin Rumba.

About the Instructor
Meet Hanna Lytvynovych, a professional ballroom dancer and certified instructor with over 18 years of experience sharing her passion for dance. A world-level competition finalist and veteran of countless international dance festivals, Hanna combines elite technique with a warm, encouraging teaching style.
From beginners looking to get comfortable on the floor to competitive dancers refining their skills, Hanna is dedicated to helping every student shine.
