Dear Parents of 5th Grade Students:We are excited to have you join our Hawk Family. The transition to middle school is extremely exciting but also brings many questions and apprehensions. We are here to answer all of those and ensure every student has a successful transition to SMS. Please attend ONE of the presentation sessions and enjoy a scavenger hunt throughout the building.
SCAVENGER HUNT
Join us anytime between 4:30pm and 7:00pm to complete a scavenger hunt throughout the building. 8th-grade WEB leaders will be in the building to support your hunt. Either before or after your scavenger hunt, stop into the gym for one of the presentations.
PRESENTATION
Join us in the gym to meet your teachers, learn about what to expect in middle school, and what it means to be a Hawk. Our 45-minute presentations will start at 5:15pm and 6:00pm to cover all of the important information you need to know before August.
IEP and 504 STUDENTS
StudentsIf you would like additional time to ask specific questions with our Special Education Teacher or Counselor, please join them in the A-Pod classroom A109 from 4:30pm-5:00pm.
