The Social Chase, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the neurodivergent community, proudly announces its 5th FREE Autism Education and Awareness Forum, taking place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Waterbury Arts Magnet School. Thank you to the City of Waterbury - Mayor's Office and Waterbury Arts Magnet School. Thank you to Sun, Moon & Stars, Inc for their support!
The event will be moderated by Renee DiNino, Director of Community Affairs for WFSB - Channel 3, who will lead discussions and help guide meaningful conversations throughout the morning.
This milestone 5th anniversary event will bring together parents, caretakers, educators, professionals, and advocates for a powerful day of learning, connection, and empowerment. The forum will feature 13 expert-led workshops and panel discussions, a resource fair, and opportunities for attendees to engage directly with leaders in autism support, education, research, and advocacy.

Accessing ABA services
Legal and financial planning for special needs families
Community participation and autism research
Social connectivity and relationship building
Self-advocacy and lived experiences
A highlight of the event includes Pay it Forward and Profound Autism parent panel discussion and Social Chaser Self-Advocate Panel, offering real-world perspectives and interactive Q&A sessions. In addition, the “Ask the Lawyer” session will provide attendees with access to legal expertise on issues impacting families.
