5th Annual Sexual Assault Awareness Walk

Every 68 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. And every 9 minutes, that victim is a child. Meanwhile, only 25 out of every 1,000 perpetrators will end up in Pr*son. (Source: RAIIN)

A big reason why assaults go unreported, is that victims feel that they won’t be believed. Together, we can RAISE OUR VOICES, and empower victims to do the same.

Step 2: Donate to I AM VOICES to support housing and programs for women in the area who have experienced sexual violence, sex trafficking and homelessness.

Step 3: Order a T-shirt to wear for the event! Part of the proceeds will go towards our programs. (Must be ordered by April 3rd)

I AM VOICES provides housing and support for women in the tri-county area who have experienced sexual violence, sex trafficking and homelessness.

The Blooming Flower Housing program organized and run by I AM VOICES, Inc. provides innovative, hands-on help with housing, life skills, job placement, transportation, social skills, financial literacy, therapy and more.

In 2022, I AM VOICES impact included:

• 39 women in our housing program
• 3,876 volunteer hours
• 21,723 hygiene products donated

Our top donors will receive some amazing prizes donated by local organizations including:

• Itinerant Literate Booksan independent bookstore in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston
• Indulge in Art - a local Charleston artist and College of Charleston alumae.
• Top Golf - a new entertainment attraction in North Charleston
