ABOUT BOB'S HOUSE FOR DOGS:
The Quellas started working towards the Bob’s House dream back in 2006 after the tragic loss of their beloved dog, Bob and started rescuing dogs in 2009. Under the supervision of our expert staff, they provide foster care to senior and special-needs dogs in a kennel-free, home-like environment. The dogs in their care receive loving attention, high-quality food and meticulous healthcare. They give back to the community through a number of programs, reaching out to the elderly and children.
ABOUT OUR CLUB:
The Scoot Dawgs was established very organically in 2020, just a group of good buddies who love to ride. We strive to have memorable moments with like minded individuals and share in a passion that may seem silly to some, but to us: It doesn't get any better than good friends, making memories and riding scooters.
TIPS ABOUT RIDING IN A GROUP:
Stay close enough together so we can proceed in the group through intersections and traffic lights together, but also make sure leave enough room to give yourself time to maneuver and react to possible hazards and traffic.
Use hand signals whenever possible to help communicate with other riders. We stop at major intersections and turns to let people catch up so we can continue down the road together. Remember, strength in numbers. Ride within your ability and be courteous to others.
Ride in a staggered formation and stay in 1 large group, if you see someone ahead or behind, close the gap and stay together.
We give a 10 min warning before departure at our water stops. At that point when you hear the call, finish your drink, have a smoke, connect your bluetooth, put on your helmet, etc. and be ready to roll in ten minutes. Each stop is approximately 45 minutes.
At each stop, please try to park all together in one central location, so we can leave tightly together.
If anyone has any issues or problems, communicate it to somone with a Scoot Dawgs shirt and we will help out as best we can.
