REMEMBERING KAIDRA:
Kaidra was a Mandan phy ed teacher and girls softball coach who lost her two-year battle with brain cancer in 2020 at the age of 31. She left behind a husband and two daughters now aged 9 and 7.
Night at the Races raises funds for the Mandan girls softball program, and last year gave (7) $1,000 scholarships each to high school seniors and purchased new jerseys for the team. Her daughters were able to present the scholarships during a game which allows them an opportunity to remember and honor their mother while supporting a local sport that Kaidra loved.
