January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month! The Lakeshore Human Trafficking Task Force is hosting a Community Forum to educate the public on Human Trafficking on Tuesday, January 31st from 6 to 8pm at Port City Church (3387 Heights Ravenna Rd. Muskegon, MI 49444).
This is a wonderful event to understand what labor and sex trafficking look like in West Michigan and to learn about what's being done on prevention and restoration and how you can help.
The Human Trafficking 101 presentation will be conducted b J. Kyon Director of Community Impact at Kalamazoo YWCA. The YWCA provides services to both labor and sex trafficking victims in West Michigan.
Following Human Trafficking 101, a Panel Discussion will take place.

Doors open at 5:30. Join us for this FREE educational forum. Light refreshments will be provided and various community resource booths will be available.
