5th Annual Hanukkah Out East

Get ready for Hanukkah Out East, East Side Tribe’s booziest and greasiest night of the year! We’re returning for the 5th year in a row to party with our friends at Inglewood Lounge, the only bar in East Nashville that's cool enough to let us light a bunch of candles indoors.

Bonus: this year we’re also excited to be kicking off the first night of NowGen’s “8 Nights of Nashville,” a city-wide party cavalcade with goings-on every night of Hanukkah! Keep an eye on NowGen socials for more details about all the awesomeness.

What to Expect and What to Bring

Prepare to feast, schmooze, faux-gamble, dance, and bless some fire. It’s totally optional, but we encourage you to BYOM (Bring Your Own Menorah - or whatever ritual object you use to celebrate this season) - and don’t worry if you don’t have candles, we’ll bring extra!

We’re also planning to have some space in the lounge for mindful reflection and thoughtful conversation on the holiday-thematic topic of “rededication.”

Registration for this shindig is totally free! But for a cool $15 in advance (or a room-temp $20 at the door) you can procure a drink ticket and unfettered access to Actual Food Nashville‘s legendary Hanukkah buffet, featuring insane latkes, gooey sufganiyot, top-shelf brisket sammies, and more! Trust me, kids, this ticket is a steal at twice the price.

Put your Tikkun where your Olam is

We will also be fundraising at the party with physical and digital tzedakah donation stations where you can do your part to support any/all victims of terror and oppression in Israel and Gaza via the Jewish Federations of North America and/or OneVoice Movement, an Israeli and Palestinian co-founded non-profit organization that empowers grassroots activists and moderate leaders—Israelis, Palestinians, and their global allies—to build a future where everyone can live with mutual respect, security, and justice.
