5th Annual Dancing My Way to Wellness Line Dance-A-Thon

We plan on having a great time and making our fifth year the best ever!!! 

Ten hours of line dancing this year with brief instructionals throughout (MOSTLY R&B, Soul, Gospel, Jazz, Zydeco, and even a little Country)! You don't have to stay (or dance) the entire time. You will have a wristband so you can come, leave, and come back. Just come out and join in the fun! 

VERY lite refreshments will be offered but you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages.

Health awareness info advocates will be available to promote/provide resources, and educate...  There will also be sales vendors...

There will be raffles and more...

Tickets will go on sale June 1, 2022. You can also purchase through cashapp ( $scherilove or $keepitsimple411 ) or PayPal; cash works too. :-)

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: $30.00 before August1st and entry into the early bird raffle. 

$40.00 after September 1st

FAQs

Why is online ticket price a little more? 

Online ticket price includes processing fee. However, we do have paper tickets available for sale so that you can purchase without incurring the processing fee.  (Some of the instructors, including some out of state, will have paper tickets for purchase as well.)

What does the ticket price include?

Ticket price includes entry, refreshments throughout the day, raffles.

There are several in Hamden, New Haven, and West Haven within a 5 mile radius and with different price ranges/amenities.

Here are a few, and the distances from the venue according to MapQuest:

Carriage House Hotel and Conference Centre, 2297 Whitney Avenue, Hamden CT 06518; 3.1 miles - approximately 6 minutes

Clarion Hotel & Suites, 2260 Whitney Avenue, Hamden CT 06518; 3 miles - approximately 10 minutes

La Quinta Inn & Suites, 400 Sargent Drive, New Haven CT 06511; 5 miles - approximately 15 minutes

 What are my parking options?

Parking is free.

What can/can't I bring into the event?

You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages; only VERY lite refreshments will be offered. 

We are NOT allowed to have confetti on the premises, just in case you intend to celebrate any special occasions, i.e. birthdays, anniversaries.

What do I need to do to be a vendor?

Contact us to get an application and fee information; approved vending space is limited and on a 'first come/first served' basis.

 What's the refund policy?

No refunds.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes; however, we definitely will have a list of all attendees at the door if you forget to bring it, or purchased through Paypal or Cashapp.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, but PLEASE let us know in advance!
