The family of Boaty Campbell is proud to present our 5th AnnualFishing Tournament. All Proceeds will go to a local child and his family.
Branson is a bright, energetic 10-year-old boy from Robertsdale, Alabama. He
was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on August 16, 2024, and
since then, their world has completely changed.
If you’ve ever met Branson, you would know exactly why everyone calls him
Hollywood—his personality is bigger than life.
Before his diagnosis, Branson was all about sports—baseball, football, you
name it—and when he wasn’t on the field, you could find him out in the
woods, hunting, fishing, or just exploring. But more than anything, he loves his
siblings—his older brother and younger sister mean the world to him.
Branson fought so hard during his initial treatment, spending six months at
USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Mobile. He had almost reached
remission when, on January 23, they got the heartbreaking news that his
cancer had come back—full force. His doctors told them there was nothing
more they could do.
But giving up was never an option. They packed up and came to MD
Anderson in Houston, Texas, where Branson is now part of a clinical trial.
They are holding on to hope, faith, and prayers that this is exactly what he
needs to beat cancer for good. I will post more info soon.
