5th Annual Black Women's Leadership Conference

We’re back! This year we’re curating a space for leadership, wellness, memories, connections, and helping you connect with the tools to nurture your leadership! Many thanks to everyone who attended our conference from 2016 through 2019 – we appreciate you!!!! 

We paused during and after the Covid-19 lockdowns to focus our efforts on developing programming at the Progress Center for Black Women. 

We’re excited to return this summer to celebrate the return of the Black Women’s Leadership Conference! Take the day off and join us on August 20, 2024 at Breese Stevens Field to make new friends, shop, hear from inspiring speakers, connect with local employers, and more! 

Founded in 2016, the annual Black Women’s Leadership Conference is the Midwest’s premier leadership conference to connect with leaders, doers, owners, influencers, and creatives who are impacting their industries and communities.

All general admission BWLC tickets include: 

• Access to the conference spaces at Breese Stevens Field featuring games, leadership talks, activations, shopping, giveaways, food tastings, and more!
• Empowered Trainings 
• Access to the Progress Marketplace featuring Black-owned businesses, resource providers, employers, and more! 
• Sponsored food and drinks as well as food/drinks for purchase. 
• Music from one of the dopest DJs in the area! 
• One ballot to pick your favorite pitch from a group of entrepreneurs taking part in our FOCUS Pitch Competition.

New this year, purchase a Progress Passport! It’s an opportunity to learn more about and support Wisconsin-based Black-owned small businesses, organizations, and leaders!
