5S Management

Our 5S Management training is about eliminating waste, creating predictability and standardization and visual controls.

The workshop provides employees with the fundamental concept of the 5S’s (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain) that will improve quality and productivity. They will also learn how to apply visual signals that can significantly improve communication, speed up problem-solving and decision-making processes.

This training entitles OACETT members to earn requirements for their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Virtual training

This course will be delivered online via Zoom in 4 x 4-hour sessions.

Sessions will occur on the following dates:

• Aug 1 – 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Module 1)
• Aug 8 – 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Module 2)
• Aug 15 – 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Module 3)
• Aug 22 – 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Module 4)

Case studies, activities and links to video sources will be used to ensure the training is enjoyable, meaningful, and relevant. Sessions will also include interactive group exercise.

Following the training and the submission of a process based project within their organization, each attendee will receive a Certificate of Completion.
