¡Viva beer run!

Join us on Saturday, April 24, 2027, for a Fiesta-inspired 5K-ish fun run that starts and ends at Black Laboratory Brewing in San Antonio’s historic Dignowity Hill neighborhood.

It’s the final Saturday of Fiesta, and we’re starting the day with two things San Antonio does really well: getting together and enjoying great local beer.

Gather your family and friends, break out your brightest colors and favorite Fiesta gear, and run, walk, or jog our 5K-ish course. Then celebrate with a craft beer from Black Laboratory Brewing.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, an occasional walker, or simply joining us for the beer and a good time, this event is for you. Fiesta medals, festive attire, and plenty of color are highly encouraged!

Your registration includes:

• One delicious craft brew from Black Laboratory Brewing
• Your choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series
• Entry into our prize raffle for a chance to win merchandise, beer, and more
• Access to post-run festivities, including games, giveaways, and local vendors

We’re also proud to give back. Ten percent of event proceeds will support the San Antonio Food Bank, and we’ll be collecting nonperishable food items at the event. You’ll receive one entry into our Hunger Fighters Raffle for every item you donate—so bring a few items and increase your chances of winning while helping fight hunger in our community.

This event is part of the Texas Brewery Running Series and is not an official Fiesta San Antonio event—but we’ll certainly be celebrating in the Fiesta spirit!

Space is limited, so register early, invite friends and family, and get ready to run, raise a glass, and say ¡Viva Fiesta!

Important Details

• This is a fun run, not a timed race—all paces are welcome, whether you run, jog, or walk.
• Open course alert: Roads will not be closed. Follow all traffic laws and stay aware.
• Our 5K-ish route starts and ends at the brewery and is designed to highlight the surrounding neighborhood. Follow the arrows and enjoy the sights!
• Bring a valid ID. You must be 21+ to enjoy the beer. Underage runners will receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage.
• Rain or shine! If conditions aren’t safe for running, we’ll still gather for good times and great beer.
• No bag check—please pack light and dress for the weather.
• Dogs and strollers are welcome, but use caution. City sidewalks, streets, and trails may have uneven terrain which might not be suitable for your 4-legged and/or pint size running buddies. Black Lab is dog-friendly and allows leashed dogs on its outdoor patio.
• Please drink responsibly. Carpooling, ride sharing, or designating a driver is always a good idea.
