The Ironbound Community Corporation (ICC) proudly celebrates 56 years of standing with and for the: Ironbound community, City of Newark, State of New Jersey, and beyond — and we invite you to join us for our 2025 Changemakers Cocktail Gala, which will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the Avenue A Club in Newark.
This year, our work is more critical than ever. In 2025, ICC continues to serve as a frontline resource for Newark residents facing displacement, unemployment, food insecurity, and environmental injustice. Despite federal cuts that threaten funding for early childhood education, housing programs, and other core services, ICC remains steadfast in meeting the needs of our neighbors through holistic, community-driven programs.
This year’s Gala theme is Newark Rising and will celebrate the people and partners creating change from the ground up. We’re also uplifting the voices for our community and residents, working together to create a just, vibrant, and sustainable community.
