Welcome to the 55th Annual Penrod Arts Fair® Presented by Somerset CPAs and Advisors. As “Indiana’s Nicest Day®,” Penrod is one of the nation’s largest single-day arts fairs.
Join us on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 on the beautiful campus of Newfields. This year’s fair features over 300 artists, five stages of entertainment, more than 50 arts-related non-profit organizations, an extensive children’s area, and local food and beverages for all to enjoy.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK FOR COVID-19
AN EVENING WITH PENROD AND PENROD ARTS FAIR
I, the person using this ticket to attend either An Evening with Penrod or the Penrod Arts Fair hosted at Newfields (collectively the “Fair Events”) by The Penrod Society, Ltd. an Indiana nonprofit corporation (the “Society”), am fully aware of the contagious nature of the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (“COVID-19”), including that it, and new variants of COVID-19, continues to spread in central Indiana despite the efforts and guidance from public health authorities to contain it. I understand the risk that I may be exposed to or contract COVID-19 by attending either or both of the Fair Events or by coming to and going from the Fair Events whether through my own personal means of transportation or on a shuttle bus arranged by the Society. I understand and acknowledge that such exposure or infection may result in serious illness, personal injury, permanent disability, death, or property damage. I acknowledge that this risk may result from or be compounded by the actions, omissions, or negligence of others, including members of the Society, volunteers, other attendees, artists, or vendors present at the Fair Events. I understand that the Society cannot guarantee that I will not be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 while at either of the Fair Events and that attending the Fair Events may increase my risk of contracting COVID-19.
I acknowledge that I have taken all reasonable precautions and safety measures that I believe to be necessary for my attendance at the Fair Events and will continue to take reasonable and appropriate precautions to protect myself and others at the Fair Events from the spread of COVID-19.
If I have purchased tickets for others to attend either of the Fair Events, I acknowledge that I have notified such other persons of this Assumption of Risk and have discussed its contents with them. If I am the parent or legal guardian of a minor or other person in my care, I am accepting and assuming the risks of COVID-19 for that person. If I am holding any tickets for the use of another non-minor party to attend either of the Fair Events, I have been authorized by such party to accept this Assumption of Risk on such party’s behalf and hereby accept the Assumption of Risk as authorized by such party.
NOTWITHSTANDING THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH COVID-19, SOME OF WHICH REMAIN UNKNOWN, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM VOLUNTARILY ATTENDING EITHER OR BOTH OF THE FAIR EVENTS WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE POTENTIAL RISK INVOLVED.
AS A CONDITION OF ATTENDING AND BY ATTENDING THE FAIR EVENTS, I HEREBY AGREE TO ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL RISKS RELATED TO COVID-19 OF PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO MY BEING AT, COMING TO, AND GOING FROM THE FAIR EVENTS, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE SOCIETY OR ANY OTHER PERSONNEL AT THE FAIR EVENTS OR OTHERWISE.
