🔥 Firebird’s Longest-Running Major Event Returns! 🔥The 55th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Ignitor Nitro Opener, presented by The Blower Shop, roars back to Firebird, May 14–17, 2026!
This iconic event marks the first of two 2026 stops at Firebird for the AA/Funny Car class as part of the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series. Firebird is also proud to host the opening race of the 2026 NHRA Division 6 Point's Series (LODRS).
Qualifying, record runs, and NHRA class action will take place Friday and Saturday, leading into final eliminations on Sunday. Thursday will be reserved for testing for competitors preparing for the Ignitor weekend.
