Virginia City hosts the 53rd Grand Prix in the heart of downtown. First raced in 1971, the annual two-day event draws nearly 1,000 riders, competing in 41 different classes, to the Comstock to battle rough terrain for glory and the ultimate bragging right. This full-throttle racing event is one of the largest and most competitive off-road motorcycle races in the West, combining a challenging race experience with the energy and charm of an authentic mining town.
