Blended from a global collaboration gives 53 Thieves their unique sound, Will Price is a producer from Jackson, Mississippi who has been releasing r&b/soul-inspired instrumental hip hop under the name Pryces since 2016. Caleb Ely, a producer from Bloomington, Indiana, has released music with electronic and hip hop elements under the name Ronin since 2015. Jess, a vocalist from Devon, England; and Conor Jordan, a vocalist from Belfast, Northern Ireland; make up the final two members of the Thieves. Jess and Conor have been working together and releasing electronic/r&b-inspired music under the name Denton Thrift since 2017. All of the Thieves are multi-instrumentalists and incorporate live playing in their shows.
Originally forming as a one-time collaboration for the single ‘what you do to me’ under the label Majestic Casual, the Thieves quickly found success and decided to focus solely on making more music together and solidifying their name.
