Mountain View Art & Wine Festival Returns to Celebrate Creativity, Culture, and Community. “A Festival Like No Other” – on September 7th and 8th, 2024
Save the date for a weekend filled with art, music, delicious food and drinks, and unforgettable experiences. Hosted in the heart of Silicon Valley, this beloved festival is set to take place on Castro Street, attracting more than 150,000 visitors from near and far. Admission is free.
Immerse yourself in a sensory wonderland as the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival brings together the finest in art, food, and entertainment. The multi-cultural event has continually been voted Best Festival by Metro readership for more than a decade. Stroll down Castro Street and discover an exquisite array of artisanal crafts, from captivating paintings to unique sculptures, created by talented artists from all over the region. Whether you're an art enthusiast or simply looking for a charming gift, this festival has something for everyone with a variety of price points with over 400 different vendors.
Special exhibits within the event include:
· Xfinity Pigskin Party Lounge broadcasting live football and baseball games on a SkyVision giant screen TV
· Italian Street Chalk Art Block where 5 world-renowned artists will completely transform the street into a masterpiece throughout the weekend
· A Collaborative paint temple immersed by a DJ spinning melodic house music
· A wine-tasting experience by St. Francis Winery.
Live Music:
Let the music move you as live bands and talented performers take the PG&E Summers End music stage, infusing the festival with contagious energy. From lowrider to high-energy rock, the diverse lineup promises an unforgettable musical experience with the Bluehouse, Cisco Kid, The Megatones, Raging Introverts, The Hitmen, and The Houserockers.
Family-Friendly:
The Mountain View Art & Wine Festival is a family-friendly event, and our Kids Fun Zone ensures that children have a blast too! Enjoy a variety of games, face painting, and fun-filled activities that will keep the young ones entertained all day long. Featured attractions include a bungee jump trampoline and ‘water balls’ where participants are able to walk on water in giant orbs.
Also located in the Kids Fun Zone, the Community Talent Stage showcases local up-and-coming talent. You’ll be amazed and delighted by the performances of our young singers, dancers, actors, and more.
Food & Drinks:
Indulge your taste buds in a gastronomic journey with delectable treats from food vendors and gourmet food trucks. From savory delights to sweet confections, foodies will be delighted by the abundance of culinary offerings.
Wine aficionados, rejoice! From rich reds to crisp whites, sip and savor a delightful selection of varietals from renowned local vineyards and wineries. Or soak in the sun with a refreshing cold beer or for a more complex drink try a Local Motion Vodka Seltzer or Dr. Hops Living Hard Seltzer.

Public Transit: Ride Caltrain, Ride Caltrain, VTA Light Rail, or VTA Bus service to the festival (exit at the Mountain View Transit Center). For VTA information and schedule, visit www.vta.org. Caltrain, VTA Light Rail, and bus service drop riders off at the Mountain View transit center, just steps from the primary festival entrance at Evelyn Avenue and Castro Street.
Ride Sharing: The festival’s designated ride-sharing drop-off/pick-up location in City Lot #12 at California and Bryant.
Bicycle Parking: Avoid the traffic congestion and ride your bike! Free centrally located and highly visible bicycle parking will be offered near the corner of Castro and Church Streets thanks to Friends of Stevens Creek Trail. Please bring your own lock. There are also ample bicycle parking racks throughout downtown Mountain View.
Vehicle Parking: Free parking is available on streets and public parking facilities surrounding the downtown area. There will also be designated paid parking lots.
Pets are not allowed (exception for service dogs)
Dates/Hours/Location: September 7-8 from 11am to 7pm (Saturday) and 10am to 6pm (Sunday) on Castro Street from El Camino to Evelyn.
Attendees are not allowed to bring alcohol, cans, bottles, coolers, pets, lawn chairs or personal conveyances into the event.
