This year’s theme is “Harambee…It Still Take a Village!”

[DALLAS TEXAS 2025] Providing a safe alternative to Trick or Treating. Everyone from all walks of life and major brands looking to make a positive impact can enjoy many diverse Retail Vendors, Food Trucks, Free Concerts from local and national talent, Kids & Teen Area, Social Resources, Early Voting, Workshops, Memorial Dove Release and much more. All families with small kids, to pre-teen will have a safe place to play, interact with and learn about their culture(s). Each child 13 and under receives a free treat bag of healthy snacks and goodies. At this year’s festival, we will provide different activities such as physical and interactive games, more arts & crafts, face painting, petting zoos, small carnival rides along with more family friendly entertainment.
Over the past 51 years, hosting more than 5,000 attendees and with the support of longtime partners such as The MLK Jr Center, City of Dallas, CCSOC, The Children’s Defense Fund and Dallas Parks and Recs; just to name a few; the Harambee Festival has secured its place as one of the oldest and largest cultural events in North Texas. And those unable to attend the onsite festival can still enjoy the festival by watching the LIVE Stream on Facebook hosted by our New York correspondent, Sir Shefik Macauley.
The Harambee Festival’s overall mission is to educate and unify all generations, cultures and social groups. Today’s youth/influencers/next politicians, doctors, lawyers, social workers and parents need new awareness and counseling. This has become a treasured fall tradition and cultural institution for the Dallas Ft Worth area, connecting thousands of young people to their ethnic culture and community. options of positive motivation.
