Hey everyone!!Group hike for this month takes us from the Muir Beach Overlook into Muir Woods. It’s hands down one of the best hikes to do in the entire Bay Area. However, I’ll go on this hike and rarely see a black or brown person, AT ALL. So, 510 Hikers will aim to add some color to the trail with some black and brown faces that these trails belong to as well.
Please bring shoes with traction. A smile. Snacks and water. Please recognize you are invited to this hike. In that you are invited, please respect the house rules. We won’t ask you to take your shoes off but we will ask everyone to bring their red this week. If you don’t have any, reach out and I’ll bring a red 510 shirt for you ($10 Venmo makes it very affordable for everyone to have a quality hike shirt). Let’s look good this week in Muir Woods. Our red stands out, so, let’s represent.
Trail is 8.9 miles and 1400 elevation. Nothing we haven’t done before.
Let’s come early, pull up around 8am so we can started by 8:15am and get our hike on while it’s still fresh and early out so we can meet up for early lunch afterwards.
