Hey you!! Feel free to bring the Holiday vibes and colors out this hike!!
Last hike of the year for 510’Hikers!!!
So, get out, finish the year strong and allow yourself to gain some momentum for the coming year.
We are asking everyone who attends to bring a small unwrapped gift for our Holiday Toy Drive event!!! Just one, unwrapped!! $5, $10, more. It’s the thought that counts!!!
One of the great parts about this location is, it’s weather proof!! it’s a hike that both beginners and veterans can come to. Whether you are looking for a lil workout or just some time walking in nature, this is a great location to do it from.
Please check the address because we are NOT meeting at Lake Chabot. We are meeting at the park NEXT to it.
Many of us have been here before. I mean, we been doing this for ten years. It’s not about the trails as much as it is about getting out, walking, challenging your body, your muscles. Getting fresh air and being in that social setting and community. See, 510 Hikers started out as a community, one so amazing, multiple communities have been grown out of it. Multiple Bay Area hike groups came after us, the first to do. So now, let’s not forget where it all it started, for many of us, where WE started. Come home and hike with the hike family.
Please bring shoes with traction, bring hydration, a couple snacks and that bright smile. No we won’t be out there doing soul train lines and hiking 1.6 miles, long enough for some Insta stories. That’s not us. We want to get out and move because that’s healthy.
Maybe after we can do the line, 😝
Hike will be up to 8 miles (we used to do that in our sleep). But, it can be as. Short as you want, it’s an out and back hike so if you need to turn back early, that’s perfectly fine!! Come for whatever reason you need. There is no “box” to fit in for this hike to end the year.
