50th Heritage Festival of Negro Spirituals in Baton Rouge!

Traditionally the HERITAGE Chorale of Baton Rouge opens up #BlackHistoryMonth with a Festival of Negro Spirituals on the 1st Sat. of Feb. We of the New Dimensions Choral Society go down there to participate.
Then, we close out #BlackHistoryMonth on the last Sat. of Feb. with our own Bobby Wiggins Festival of Spirituals (details forthcoming) here in Shreveport, and HERITAGE comes up here to participate in that.
Other choirs planned to participate include:
• Southern University Concert Choir—Baton Rouge
• Grambling State University Concert Choir—Grambling
• Acadiana Ecumenical Choir, GMWA—Lafayette
FREE ADMISSION! Donations requested. Reception to follow (free food!)
