50th Class Reunion

Good morning, Class of ’76!
Here’s another update:
Friday, September 11th, 2026
We are planning on having a tour of the “old” Fitchburg High School on Friday afternoon, probably between 3 and 4:00 p.m. We are in the discussion stages of following up the tour with a casual get together after, with location and more specifics to follow.
Saturday, September 12th, 2026
We are planning on offering a tour of “The Rock,” led by Peter Capodagli, Class of 1968, in the morning, TBA, followed by our reunion at the Monoosnock Country Club from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
We have 42 committed so far to the reunion. Cost of the event will be $76 per person, which covers hall rental, DJ services, and other miscellaneous expenses, along with catering services. You may pay by check made out to: Alumni Association of FHS, Inc., with Class of 1976 Reunion in the Memo. Checks should be mailed to Class of 1976 Reunion, 199 Richardson Road, Fitchburg, MA 01420, attention Chris Woods, or through direct deposit to our Venmo account at: @theburg76. We will be offering a catered meal, music provided by KMJ Entertainment Services (DJ Rocco Mammone, Class of 1998), and a cash bar. Name tags will also be provided.

Brunch at the Knights of Columbus, 165 Electric Avenue, Fitchburg, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Joe Haggerty, Class of 1975, has offered to cook for us in the memory of his brother, Paul.
Lodging Information – Despite Maryellen Thomas O’Brien’s efforts, we were unable to obtain a group rate, so please find below potential lodging options. There are also some Airbnb options that can easily be found online.
