50th Charter Day Anniversary Weekend

The 50th Charter Day Anniversary begins with The Prelude: Honoring Dr. Margaret Clark, marking the start of a golden weekend celebrating Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, The Kappa Iota Chapter.

This milestone celebration, themed “Crowned in Gold: Rooted in 50 Years of AKA Excellence,” honors five decades of sisterhood, service, and impact.

The anniversary weekend opens with A Vision’s Fair on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, hosted at The Fowler Observatory, located at 527 N Razorback Road, Fayetteville, AR 72701. This semi-formal evening commemorates the chapter’s history, visionary leadership, and enduring excellence.

The celebration continues with The Kappa Iota Soirée on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at The Moxy Hotel, 530 W Streamside Bend, Fayetteville, AR 72701. Guests are invited to enjoy a stylish daytime gathering honoring the legacy and future of the Kappa Iota Chapter. Attire: Cute Chic.
