50 years of Yarrow Days! Celebrate small town living better than ever at this year's festivities. Fun for the whole family from Friday June 3 through Sunday June 5. The theme this year is Feelin Groovy in honour of the birth of Yarrow Days in 1970.

FRIDAY JUNE 3RD
At Dusk - Movie night with popcorn under the stars! Huge outdoor screen on the field behind the community hall (in the event of rain we'll set up at the school gym). Screening Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971). Bring your own blankets, chairs, thermos, and spare change for popcorn (thanks to Green Acres). Biking and walking to the event is encouraged!
SATURDAY JUNE 4TH
8am Family Fun Run assembles. 2k and 5k along our beautiful local river trails starts at 8:15am. Dress in your 70s fitness finest! Registration by donation. A surprise free gift for every participant!
8-10am All welcome to a free pancake breakfast at Canadian Reform Church, 42285 Yarrow Central. Donations and non-perishables being collected for Salvation Army. *Thank you to the CRC for generously allowing parking all day on Saturday as well!*
10am PARADE leaves Yarrow Community School. The lost art of the small town parade lives on in Yarrow! Get your spot along Yarrow Central Rd. early, it gets busy. Wilson Rd to Cypress St.
11am party in pioneer park! Opening ceremonies at 11am followed by all day entertainment including but not limited to Little Kings Olive Tree, Bhangra Dancers (thank you Terry Sidhu!), Maybelles, Ever After Princesses, and Kenzie Jade.
While you're at the park be sure to check out the craft and vendor booths, kids games, amazing BBQ, imagination station, and the annual t-shirts for sale at the info booth.
Also happening all day is the Show + Shine over at the Alliance Church, 42228 Yarrow Central Rd.
6pm-late, SOLD OUT Dine + Dance with The Lounge Hounds @ Chestnut Springs, 42300 Yarrow Central Rd. Pig roast with all the trimmings followed by a rockin time with The Lounge Hounds. Family friendly. Liquor sales with ID.
SUNDAY JUNE 5
10am Community Church Service @ Yarrow Pioneer Park. Multi denominational service will happen rain or shine. Open to all!
10:30am Brunch in the big tents beside Chestnut Springs, brought to you by the churches of Yarrow. Traditional breakfast sandwiches, fruit, juice, coffee. $5/person or $20/family. All welcome - you don't have to attend church service to join the brunch!
