Be a part of a once-in-a-lifetime event to honor the Apollo 14 Mission! Join us for a night celebrating this historic event sitting under the Saturn V rocket that launched the missions to the moon.
Hosted by Back To Space in collaboration with the Shepard, Roosa, and Mitchell families.
Keynote speaker - Gerald D. "Gerry" Griffin, An American aeronautical engineer and former NASA official, who served as a flight director during the Apollo program and director of Johnson Space Center, succeeding Chris Kraft in 1982.
M.C. - John Zarella - John Zarrella is an American news correspondent. He worked for CNN from 1981–2013. He was the principal correspondent for CNN's coverage of the U.S. space program, covering such events as John Glenn’s 1998 return to space, the Mars Pathfinder mission, and numerous space shuttle launches.
EVENT FEATURES
- Celebration of the accomplishments of Apollo 14 Mission with attendees including Walt Cunningham and Charlie Duke
- A once-in-a-lifetime achievement award, FROM THE MOON TO MARS, presented to SpaceX and Elon Musk for significant work in the transformation of humanity and pushing the boundaries of human exploration. The Award, a handing of the baton from one generation of pioneers to the transformational leader of the next, will be presented by Apollo 16 living legend, Charlie Duke, the youngest man to walk on the Moon, a member of the Aviation & Astronaut Hall of Fame, Texan of the Year, and retired Air Force General.
- Live entertainment by national recording artist, Shelley Laine, who will be debuting a new song about the Apollo missions.
- Apollo Astronaut discussion panel moderated by Master of Ceremonies John Zarrella
- Keynote speaker, Gerry Griffin. is a fascinating storyteller who was flight director at NASA for all Apollo missions, and served as Director of Kennedy Space Center, and later, director of Johnson Space Center. He has also been a technical advisor and actor in the films Contact, Deep Impact, Apollo 13 and was the technical advisor for the 2011 film Apollo 18.

- This event benefits the Gary Sinise Foundation, with a goal of raising funds for our nation’s defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. Net proceeds will be donated to the Gary Sinise Foundation &
