Create your own signature scent in this hands-on perfume-making experience hosted by Malibu Apothecary, a clean, coastal-inspired fragrance brand. Whether you're joining a group or booking a private session (contact us!), you’ll learn to craft your very own 50mL eau de parfum using high-quality ingredients and sustainable practices.

💧 You’ll learn the basics of top, middle, and base notes, then blend your unique scent using our clean perfume base (40% alcohol, 10% fragrance). After bottling and labeling your custom creation, we’ll wrap it up beautifully for you to take home.

🌱 While you craft, you’ll also learn the difference between clean and toxic fragrances, and why Malibu Apothecary is committed to no phthalates, parabens, or synthetics that harm the body or ocean.

Please Read Before Booking Your 50mL Perfume Workshop

Unless otherwise indicated, all Malibu Apothecary workshops are designed for guests ages 13 and older. Because our perfume workshops are BYOB, include the handling of alcohol-based ingredients, and are intended as a creative, adult-friendly experience, we kindly ask that only those 13+ attend.

This class is a fun, hands-on experience—not a professional perfume-making training to start your own fragrance line.

🗓 Refund Policy:

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the workshop start date.

Within 7 days, bookings are non-refundable but may be rescheduled or credited toward a custom perfume from our website (based on availability).

Cancellations made within 2 days of the workshop are not eligible for refunds, rescheduling, or credit.

We cannot make exceptions to this policy, including for COVID.

⏰ Punctuality Policy:

Workshops start promptly on time. Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and settle in. We have a 20-minute grace window—if you arrive later than that, we won’t be able to accommodate you due to the time-sensitive nature of perfume blending.

Looking to host a private event or off-site experience? We’d love to help! You can book out our studio at the same price with a minimum guest count or have us travel to you.
