500k for NWA Feed the Funnel party

Join 1,500 of your friends at the 500k for NWA Feed the Funnel Experience to pack 500,000 MEALS for neighbors in Northwest Arkansas who are facing food insecurity. The meals you pack will be donated to these LOCAL NONPROFITS across Northwest Arkansas.

Buy tickets to claim spots around the Funnel for you and your team for one (or more!) of the following Feed the Funnel experiences:

• Thursday, 11/13: 12–1pm, 2–4pm
• Friday, 11/14: 9–11am, 12–1pm, 2–4pm
• Saturday, 11/15: 9–11am, 12–1pm

Tickets for one hour shifts are $79.99 each (plus a $4.99 ticketing fee), and tickets for two hour shifts are $159.99 (plus a $8.99 ticketing fee). This covers the cost of ingredients, packaging, equipment, supplies, staff, logistics, and other expenses necessary to pack 500,000 meals.

What's the scoop? We will be packing a delicious, healthy Southwest Chile Black Beans & Rice meal. This meal is plant-based, clean label, allergen free, gluten free and dairy free. Each bag provides six meals after being cooked in water for just 20 minutes. Read more about the meal here.

In Northwest Arkansas (Benton, Washington, Carroll & Madison counties), there are approximately 89,000 people affected by food insecurity. That’s 15.4% of the population and well above the national average of 13.5%.

But what does “food insecurity” mean, exactly? Food insecurity is "when people do not have physical and economic access to sufficient safe and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life.”

One of the many beautiful parts of the Northwest Arkansas community is that we know how to help one another in times of need, and we’ve all had times of need, yes? Can you think of a time when someone helped you?

A community of people who know each other and look out for one another is a good thing, agreed?! Then let’s each do what we can to make this a reality right where we are.
