The Nashville Country Dancers (NCD) started around 1975 when a group broke from the Nashville International Folk Dancers (NIFD) to focus specifically on English, New England, and Contra dances.
To celebrate 50+ years of contra dance in Nashville, the Friday Night Contra on May 15 from 8pm-10:30pm will be FREE to attend. All costs have been covered by a generous donation. Please come see what this energetic, fun form of social dance is all about! Donations to NCD will be accepted at the door.
