50 years have passed since a group of Asian American leaders in Los Angeles decided enough was enough. Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) deserve equal access to government services and programs in order to fully thrive.

Join AAPI Equity Alliance in celebrating 50 years of advocacy, justice, policy, community, and change at our “50 Years of Leadership and Legacy” Gala on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 5:30 PM at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. The program will be emceed by David Ono of ABC7.
