5 Years and Growing

is an initiative that began with early adopter businesses in March 2019, providing connections for businesses to hire local underrepresented students and young professionals of color, purchase from businesses owned by people of color and create diverse and vibrant workforce and company cultures. The goal is to connect businesses to existing programming that supports social impact, creating a pipeline for private-sector engagement.

We’ll have appetizers, drinks, and art from a local BIPOC artist that represents our collective impact. Network with like-valued partners taking action to advance racial equity. Celebrate and gather to recognize the impact of Portland Means Progress.
