This course will introduce participants to dinghy sailing, teaching you all the knowledge and skills needed to set sail safely. Centred around having fun, developing a love for sailing and building water confidence, this course is a great start to your sailing journey.Boats (RS Quest) and Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) are provided throughout the course.
YNZ qualified coaches.
YNZ Level 1 certified course, participants awarded Level 1 certifications upon completion of the course.
Where: On Takapuna Beach, directly in front of the Takapuna Boating Club.
Who: Suitable for anyone aged 16 years and over. No previous sailing experience is required. You must be able to swim 50m wearing a lifejacket.
Cost: $300 for Takapuna Boating Club Active Members, $400 for Non-Members.
Limited space on each course (minimum of 4 and maximum of 8)
Morning course - 9am-12.00pm
