5 Star Night at SAME Cafe

Join Chef Kim of SAME Cafe and ten Denver High School Students show off their culinary talent in a 5 course dinner at SAME Cafe.
About this Event

The 5 Star Program was started by Chef Kim as a way to encourage Denver youth to learn cooking techniques that can be carried into adulthood. Chef Kim provides 10 hours of free training reviewing knife skills, ServSafe practices, menu planning, and front of house management skills. Once a month, all 5 Star participants will show off their skills with a 5 course meal open to the community. Chef Kim has been in the culinary field since she was 15 and is excited to show young adults how the food can continue to be a part of your life no matter what path you choose. "The 5 Star Program is a love letter to all the Chefs and teachers that raised me, showed me kindness, and allowed me to be a mentor in my own right."
