FASTING AT ĀIO WĪRA CENTREFor centuries, fasting has been used as a way to heal the body, mind and spirit, restoring balance and clarity. A Juice Fast at Āio Wīra offers you the space to step away from everyday life and take time for deep rest, renewal and reconnection.
You will be nourished with organic fruit and vegetable juices, along with a warming vegetable potassium broth in the evening.
Our experienced facilitators will guide you through the process, sharing the principles and benefits of fasting in a supportive and caring environment. Daily yoga and meditation sessions are complemented by a variety of guest-led workshops, such as Qi Gong and Reflexology. Massages and bodywork therapy are available as an optional extra.
In your free time, enjoy the peace of our tranquil sanctuary, there are bushwalks to enjoy, spa and sauna, or a refreshing swim in the river. Famous Te Henga (Bethalls) beach is a 10 minute drive away.
