Join Mystic Seaport Museum on July 4th for an Independence Day Celebration! The Bluff Point Quahog Diggers Fife and Drum Band will be joining Museum staff for a centennial parade ca. 1876. Meet characters from the past and see how ‘Antiques and Horribles’ come to life during a holiday parade around the Museum’s campus. Relax after the celebrations with a drink and a performance by the Quahog Diggers Band along the scenic Mystic River. Parade route will begin at Performance stage, travel along the waterfront, down fisheries row, and in front of toy boats. Wrap up back at Performance stage.
