the City of St. Helena has made the difficult decision to change the schedule for the 4th of July, including postponing the fireworks show to a later date in the year when conditions are more favorable.No Fireworks? Now What?
While we will not have fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July, we will still have a community-wide, family-friendly event at Crane Park beginning at 6 p.m. The events previously scheduled for 3 p.m. (Bike Parade) and 5 p.m. (Saint Helena Community Band) have been moved to later in the evening at Crane Park.
4th of July Schedule at Crane Park:
6 p.m.
• Saint Helena Community Band Performance
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• St. Helena Fire Department Spray Zone
• Need to cool off? Every 30 minutes (ending after 8 p.m.) the Fire Department will provide a Spray Zone from the top of its ladder truck. Swimsuit and towel recommended for Spray Zone activities.
6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Food Vendors
• Police Department and Fire Department vehicles available for children (and children at heart) to explore
• 30 Foot Slide
• Obstacle Course
• Rock Wall
• Water Slide
Big Fun Circus Children's Activities
• Stilt Walker
• Balloon Animals
• Face Painting
• Caricature Artist
• Bubble Play
6:45 p.m.
• Red, White, and Blue Bike Parade around Crane Park.
7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Petty Rocks band begins (The Ultimate Tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers)
All activities and entertainment at Crane Park are complimentary. Food available for purchase.
