About this Event
The digital world is currently at a turning point. As organizations rapidly adopt new technologies, they are also facing a much stricter regulatory environment. With the NIS2 Directive setting a new bar for security standards across Europe, digital identity has moved from being a technical extra to a core requirement for global digital sovereignty. There has never been a more urgent time for a real, practical dialogue between the people building these systems and the companies using them.
In this context, the Center for Cybersecurity of Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) is organizing two events in Verona on April 20–21, 2026:
- 20/04 morning “Cyber-Resilienza per le PMI: il nuovo volto della sicurezza informatica alla luce della NIS2” (in Italian): This event is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) manage the transition to the new NIS2 regulations. In Italy and throughout Europe, cybersecurity is shifting from a best practice to a strict legal mandate. We are bringing together legal experts, corporate consultants, and representatives from national agencies to turn these complex rules into a practical, multi-perspective roadmap for staying resilient and compliant.
- 20/04 afternoon and 21/04 full day “4th International Workshop on Trends in Digital Identity” (TDI 2026): This event gathers experts from academia, research institutions, industry, public administrations, and standardization bodies to discuss the evolving landscape of digital identity management. By featuring a dynamic format, the workshop provides a unique opportunity for interdisciplinary collaboration, with the aim of shaping the future of digital identity.
It is possible to register for both events (combined registration) or for one of the two events only.
Proof of student status must be sent to [email protected] if you purchase any "student registration" ticket.
Payment: Paypal or credit card only.
No refund is possible once the ticket has been purchased (please disregard the refund policy proposed by Eventbrite)
