The International Hydrogen Aviation Conference Standards:

IHAC 2020, IHAC 2021 & IHAC 2022 attracted high-level international speakers as well as a global audience discussing the role of hydrogen in aviation. This world's first platform is expected to become the most recognized international forum, gathering leading experts from the aviation sector with a special focus on hydrogen as one of the key solutions for decarbonisation.

Like aviation (with hydrogen addition onboard making it more challenging), we are continuously striving to set the highest standards for IHAC. We foresee the forum to emerge as one of the most prominent meeting places for the comprehensive exchange of industrial, technical & scientific information and for high-level networking. This requires everyone to follow the guidelines in order to ensure the delivery of a most successful event, discussing emerging technical breakthroughs in the hydrogen aviation industry.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation!

Conference Venue:

The IHAC 2023 will be held at Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). Directions to the Venue:

a) From Glasgow Airport

When it comes to travelling from Glasgow Airport to Edinburgh Haymarket, you have three options; taxi, bus or train. Taking a Glasgow airport taxi is the only direct transfer option, it takes just 1 hour and 10 minutes to reach Edinburgh Haymarket. The cheapest option is to take the Airport Express service 500 and Citylink 900 buses, but you have to make a change in Glasgow, so it does take approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Another public transfer option is to take the train. However, there are no trains from Glasgow Airport, so you will need to take the Airport Express service 500 into Glasgow city centre first. This journey takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Departures from South St David Street: Every 30 minutes (00:30 – 04:00) then every 10 minutes (04:00 – 00:10). Departures from Edinburgh Airport: Every 30 minutes (01:00 – 04:30) then every 10 minutes (04:30 – 01:00). Delegates are advised to disembark at Haymarket Railway Station and to follow signs for EICC on foot (approximately 7 minute walk). For more information about these services visit Lothian Buses.
