4th International Hospitality Research Conference 2023

Labour shortages, the aftermath of the covid-19 pandemic, and the energy transition are having a major impact on the hospitality industry. When considering the future of work in the hospitality sector, robotics and digitisation are often mentioned as potential disruptors.

This year’s HTH conference aims to bring together experts from different disciplines to discuss the —positive and negative— impacts automation and robotisation can have on the hospitality profession and hospitality experiences. ‘Robotisation’ is here defined as operational tasks in hotels and restaurants being taken over by robots and automation technologies.
