The air crackled with youthful defiance. We were no longer mere students but a force awakening. Our voices, once muffled, echoed through the streets, demanding a just future. The archaic quota system, a relic of a bygone era, ignited our spirit. We marched, not just for ourselves but for generations to come. Bloodshed stained our streets, yet our resolve remained unwavering. In the face of oppression, we stood united, a statement to the indomitable human spirit. Yes, we were talking about the July movement of our country. This student movement is quite similar to the stage of a debate tournament. Where words are like sharp swords, their arguments, a shield. The air was thick with intellect; the stage was a battlefield of ideas. Each speaker, a warrior, fought for truth, for justice, for victory. It was a spectacle, a battle of mind. Remembering this historic movement in mind, the Debating Club of BUBT organized the “4th Inter Department Debate Competition 2024." This debate will be in the form of the Asian Parliamentary Debate. Where sixteen teams will participate in the first round, and then four teams will qualify for the semi-final. The dedicated days for this tournament are:
