4th Grade Social Studies Family Night
We are excited to introduce our Fourth Grade Social Studies Fair Project! This is a project that all fourth-grade students will complete at home with family support. Our theme this year is:
Innovation and History: Impact, Influence, and Change
We will be hosting a Social Studies Fair Family Night on Tuesday, November 17th, from 6:00–7:00 PM in the Media Center. During this informative evening, we will explain the project requirements, review the available project options, and answer questions to help your family get started.
The Social Studies Fair Project will have two main parts:
1. Process Paper
Students will complete a process paper that explains their topic and the thinking behind their project. This is not a traditional research report. We will review the expectations and provide guidance on what students should include.
2. Project Presentation
Families will select from a variety of project options, including:
* Poster
* Map
* Exhibit
* Craft or model
* Performance
We encourage families to attend Family Night to learn more about the expectations and begin planning a project that is both meaningful and engaging for your child.
