Join Whitehorse for the fourth annual Whitehorse Winter Classic — a holiday concert and fundraiser in support of Ladybird Animal Sanctuary. This seasonal celebration will feature songs from their acclaimed holiday album, festive favourites, and highlights from across Whitehorse’s award-winning, genre-spanning catalogue. The duo of Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet will be joined by their stellar band and an exciting lineup of musical guests, with more surprises to come as the night draws near.
The Ladybird Animal Sanctuary is a Hamilton-based animal rescue charity co-founded by Whitehorse’s Melissa McClelland. The charity is dedicated to saving the lives of cats, dogs and small animals from high-volume shelters in the Southern Ontario area, and the organization has rescued almost 2,000 animals since its inception in 2010. To help fundraise for Ladybird, audience members can participate in a silent auction at the concert and donate on-site as well.
