Announcing the 4th Annual Central Florida Immersive Technology Summit hosted by UCF and the Central Florida Tech Grove - April 15th 2026

The VR/AR Association Central Florida Chapter is pleased to announce our 4th Annual Central Florida Immersive Technology Summit on April 15th 2026 at the Central Florida Tech Grove.

Every year the Central Florida Chapter of the VRARA hosts a summit and conference to provide members of our community with a forum to learn about immersive technologies, how they are being developed and implemented locally and globally with a focus on the MS&T industry.

This year’s theme is “Mission-Ready Immersion - XR, Simulation, and AI Powering the Next Generation of MS&T” and will include panel discussions, presentations and a hands-on technology showcase.

This conference is free and open to the public. There will also be a technology expo for agencies and industry to showcase their technologies and solutions.

Info: Most people agree that we have reached the "Tipping Point" for adoption of XR technologies in the MS&T and National Security industries. Where are we going from here and what hurdles do we still have to overcome to make XR ubiquitous.

Info: With the introduction of the bipartisan United States Leadership in Immersive Technology Act of 2024, Congress has taken a significant step towards establishing a strategic framework to promote XR innovation. Elizabeth Hyman, CEO of the XR Association, will discuss this proposal in detail, as well as the broader policy frameworks needed to ensure innovative and sustainable growth of immersive technologies.

Info: Orlando is the epicenter of the DoD MS&T industry. Join senior leader representatives of the DoD branches of service in Orlando to explore how they view the impact of XR and AI technologies in the MS&T industry and specifically their branch of service. The topics covered will include what are the new capabilities and benefits they have seen, how do they view the future of XR and AI in MS&T, and what are the challenges that need to be overcome from their perspectives.

Info: This is a continuation of the Government Leaders panel with Technical Leaders of Team Orlando.
This panel with have more of a focus on XR and AI technologies and how these technical leaders view what is required for accelerating adoption within their branches of service.
